New Favorite Show


A friend recommended this series, A Chef's Life, on PBS and I've already devoured (pun intended!) the first season.

It follows Vivian Howard and her husband Ben as they open a farm to table restaurant in her home town of Kinston, North Carolina after having lived and worked for top chefs in New York City. Each episode focuses on one ingredient (corn, boiled peanuts, tomatoes) and follows the challenges, creativity, and intricacies that come with cooking and serving.

I'm hoping to make a pilgrimage there one of these days. This is destination dining at its finest!
