Nepal

Pictures from my dear friend, Molly (girl has been everywhere!)

The news coming out of Nepal is devastating. While the death toll continues to rise and conditions worsen, the world is rallying. One organization in particular, Sunsar Maya, is doing all they can to offer aid and raise funds. I'm talking 100% of donations going directly to immediate relief and long-term reconstruction. Every little bit helps.

Weekend Visitors

We had a bevy of beautiful visitors (both friends and family) last weekend. The age range was 4-40, and states such as, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Oregon were represented. There was beer, live music, Rummikub, hiking, Game of Thrones discussions, and lots of laughter. The most important things in life, right?

Sauvie Island Home

Sauvie Island is as idyllic as it gets with gobs of farmland, streams, cows, fresh fruit, and vegetables. It was always one of our favorite Portland spots. Like the island itself, this house has all you would ever need.

Happy Earth Day!

There are some pretty badass trees here in Virginia. Case in point.

New Music Tuesdays

I'll take any National song I can get. Especially one that features Sharon Van Etten!

Lately

Not sure if it's the turning of the seasons, but the future has me excited for all kinds of change and possibility.

Friday Film

Leave it to Patagonia to not only come up with the better than new concept but actually benefit from it.

Forsythia

Unfortunately, we don't have any forsythia planted in our yard. So now that it's April, I've been on the prowl for a few clippings. Be on the lookout - no gardens are safe!
