Merry Christmas!

I've been meaning to hop on here to wish y'all a Merry Christmas! It's been a gorgeous and unseasonably warm day in Virginia. How nice to finally feel the sun on this special holiday after a week of rain and gray skies. 

We're headed up to New York, Vermont, and Massachusetts for a few days to visit family, friends, and squeeze in a little skiing on the Green Mountains. 

Enjoy this beautiful time of the year! I'm soaking in these last few days but also getting very excited for 2015 and the endless possibilities that await.

Friday Film

Rachel couldn't just be a kick ass graphic designer, she had to go and master film making, too! So proud and impressed with all that you do. I've also now added bike tour in Montana to my 2015 bucket list. Great work, girlfraaaand!

How great is this microscopic photo of a vinyl record? I find it even more fascinating now that we are record player owners (as of last weekend) ourselves! It's something we've talked about for-ev-er and decided that Christmas was as good a time as any to splurge. My dad graciously passed on some speakers and an amp he wasn't using, so the set up was easy.

Currently, our 3 favorite records are Dylan's Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, LCD Soundsystem's This Is Happening, and Gregg Allman's Laid Back. Any must have recommendations? Excited to start our collection.

Oh Christmas Tree!

We're keeping things light and festive in our bungalow this holiday season. After years of making excuses to not get a Christmas tree, we finally splurged on a tiny one for our living room. And I'm so glad we did!
