How cool is this? Looks like we're due for a color change around mid-October.

New Music Tuesdays

Thanks to Left As Rain for the find. The Drums' new album, Encyclopedia No. 2, came out this month.

Paint and Patience

Holy house distractions.

These first few weeks of homeownership proved to be a lesson in patience. At first, I was anxious to put everything in its right place (cue Radiohead) and was left feeling frustrated and overwhelmed by the mess around me. I have quickly learned that these things take time and am starting to enjoy the process and chaos of it all.

Currently, I am in the throws of painting pretty much everything. I promise not to make this blog all about home renovations, but I do plan to document a few room transformations here and there.

Oh yeah - happy Fall, y'all!

MOVED!

We officially moved in to our bungalow! Many thanks to family nearby for the help and support. Yet another reason why it's great being back east. It's so fun to share these occasions with loved ones.

As you can imagine, I am chomping at the bit to start painting and decorating but first...Michigan! We're off to a family wedding for my cousin Jacob. I'll be back next week, hopefully with internet access and a few more boxes unpacked.

Happy September, y'all!
