I'm especially giddy about next month's Vogue. Cover girl, Blake Lively, is photographed both in front of my beloved Tetons as well as my old place of employment, the Amangani. As if I needed a reason to miss this place any more than I already do!

Virginia to Oregon

My brother completed his coast to coast ride on Wednesday totaling 4,414 miles in only TWO months. His perseverance, positivity, and sense of adventure has left me inspired and so very proud. (Having a big sister moment right now if you can't already tell.)

Carson - congrats on a job well done! Your spirit and attitude has left us all amazed. Now, it's on to your next adventure in Boulder, Colorado. Keep on keeping on!

WNRN is Charlottesville's kick ass community radio station. Now that I drive to work, I get to listen to it every morning which really does start the day off right. Heard this song recently and immediately became a Stu Larsen fan.

Beach Views

We had a great long, holiday weekend in Delaware. Despite a rainy 4th of July, we spent our days on bikes, in beach chairs, and taking dips in the Bay. Already counting down until we return again in August!

Lewes for the 4th

For as long as I can remember (and even before that), I've gone up North each summer. Lewes, Delaware has been and always will be one of my most favorites places in the world. I suppose it's the people who continue to make it so special and for that, I have my family to thank! I'm grateful for and amazed at everyone's efforts in coming together year after year. 

We're headed there later today for the long weekend and while everyone in this boat can't make it for the 4th, we'll all be reunited later in the summer.
