New Banner

My in-house designer husband created this new little banner for me. It fits MMITM's aesthetic perfectly, don't you think?

In other blog news, I keep meaning to feature more of my own photos here -- preferably ones NOT taken with an iPhone. It's too easy and the images tend to be mediocre. I'd also like to be better about suggesting recipes. We cook all the time and I miss sharing (appetizing) pictures of our meals. Hoping to work on these two blog goals next month! Any other suggestions? Bring it on.

Birthday + More Thoughts on Resolutions


It's a new week and I'm a year older! My birthday was filled to the brim with good people, conversation, places, and food. My heart felt full (a common feeling, as of late) and I remain grateful for the many blessings in my 29 years.

It's nice to finally feel back to normal after a slow and sick start to 2014. I was able to really practice my patience right out of the gates. It was quite a lesson! Speaking of, I continue to read a lot of posts on resolutions and goals which leaves me feeling energized and inspired. Now, how to keep this momentum going?

Resolutions


My resolutions tend to be the same year after year: read more, spend less time on the computer, save money, drink green juice. In 2014, I really want to focus all my attention and energy on patience. Patience with family, friends, and strangers, patience in my job and career, patience in the day to day, and patience in planning for the future. Truth: I may be a yogi, but I am not always good at waiting or letting things roll off my back. So with that, here's to taking deep breaths and letting things happen naturally!

A Brand New Year
